Jinn – Speed of 2.81 m/s if the player is more than 3 meters away while the fuse box is on.What about if it speeds up around eletronics on the floor during a hunt? Well then you've got a textbook case of that Mimic being a Raiju. Does it move slow during the hunt, but then speed up with line of sight? That's a Mimic imitating a Revenet. From there, you can determine it through two means Does it give a Spirit Box as evidence? Is it mimicing something that may have an easy tell?Ī good example of that would be if it refuses to give Spirit Box, but moves faster in colder areas but slows down in warmer areas during a hunt. The only time you'll really run into a sticky situation is when you have Orbs, Fingerprints and Freezing, as that's also the same evidence as a Hantu. They do not imitate evidence outside of those 4, and can give those 4 in any order. Orbs will be fake in this case, as stated in their description in the Journal. Orbs, Freezing Temps, Fingerprints and Spirit Box. Mimics will be greyed out because you'll discover 4 different evidence from them. 引用自 GREATMARINE3:I've had a mimic imitate the evidence of something before, we only realized it was a mimic when all options were greyed out, and we ended up being right. If the end screen specified it was a Raiju however, then it was probably a bug. Unless the game specifically told him on the end mission screen that it was a Raiju, then it may have been a Mimic that tricked him into thinking it was a Raiju. If he got a spirit box response, then it was probably a Mimic pretending to be a Raiju who decided to early hunt Because he was using the Spirit box near it at the time (aka: a Mimic using the Raiju's traits/behaviours to start hunting early due to proximity to electronics, while giving itself away as not being a Raiju because of a spirit box response). He specified that he thought it was a Raiju, who does NOT have spirit box as evidence, but got a Spirit box response from a ghost who acted like a Raiju, which would mean its probably a Mimic, because Mimic's Do have Spirit box as an evidence. That is why I suggested it might be a Mimic. It goes all screwy, and shows stats all over, but won't normally cause a real evidential response. Hunts/Ghost presence glitches out equipment, but never to give evidence. If it was, in fact, as Raiju, then it was definitely a glitch. However, this all hinges on the OP remembering what ghost it said it was at the end of the mission. The Mimic could have copied the "hunt early" behavior, while giving the Mimic evidence. The OP was confused as to why the "hunt early from electronics ability" happened at the same time as Spirit Box evidence. It's not mimicking the Raiju evidence, it's mimicking the behavior. Mimicked traits can also change mid-game, this is why you have to be prepared anytime for an insta-demon-hunt (which ignores sanity) when facing a Mimic. The only fake evidence is the orb, always. Mimics only copy the behaviour/traits of other ghost, not evidences. If it copied the Raiju then it could hunt early due to proximity to electronics, just like a Raiju. 引用自 Tank Magnet:If the game said it was a Raiju upon return then maybe, otherwise it was likely a Mimic copying the Raiju (as Spirit box IS a mimic evidence). ![]()
